Starting on July 14th at 2:00 PM, each week will focus on building new skills, from basic techniques like holding a hook and yarn to more advanced stitches such as single, double, and triple crochet. Through hands-on activities and projects, participants will work towards creating a colorful granny square. At the end of the series, all the squares will be joined together to form a cozy community blanket—a true collaborative masterpiece!
This event is not only a great opportunity for children to learn a new skill but also a chance to foster creativity, patience, and teamwork. The “Young Yarners” series promises to be a fun and educational experience for young participants, helping them develop a love for crafting and a sense of accomplishment.
Don’t miss out on this exciting event that combines learning, creativity, and community spirit. Mark your calendars for July 14th and join us at the Vigo County Public Library for the start of the “Young Yarners” series!
