Taking place at the White Violet Farm Alpacas barn on Wednesday, June 24, Wednesday, July 29, and Wednesday, August 26, from noon to 1:30 p.m. EDT, this event promises to be a delightful experience for all attendees. Bring a sack lunch for a picnic near the alpacas while listening to alpaca stories read by WVC Director of Outreach and Events Tara Elmore, Farm Projects Assistant Raven Renn, and Vigo County Public Library West Branch Assistant Librarian Beth Nelson. Tara will also share fascinating alpaca fun facts to educate and entertain guests. After the storytelling session, guests will have the opportunity to meet some of the friendly alpacas up close and participate in a take-home alpaca craft activity. Best of all, there is no cost to attend this event, but donations for alpaca care are always appreciated. No registration is required, so feel free to drop by and enjoy a day of alpaca-themed fun with your family. This event is not only a great way to bond with your children and learn more about these fascinating animals but also supports the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice in their mission to promote sustainability and environmental awareness. Don't miss this fantastic opportunity to connect with nature and create lasting memories with your loved ones. For more information, contact 812-535-2946 or email lrobinette@spsmw.org. We look forward to seeing you at the "Snackin' with the Alpacas: All Ages Summer Reading Program"! #NexSouk #AIForGood #EthicalAI #TerreHaute #FamilyFun
