Meanwhile, in Louisiana, the NWS Shreveport issued a statement at 8:25 AM CST, warning of a line of strong thunderstorms moving east at 45 mph. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half-inch hail were expected, posing a risk of minor damage to outdoor objects in several locations.
In Utah, the NWS Salt Lake City issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Bear Lake and Bear River Valley, with visibility less than one quarter mile until 10 AM MST. Hazardous driving conditions were anticipated due to the low visibility caused by dense fog.
