Southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina are also under a Freeze Warning until November 11 at 8:00 AM EST, with temperatures expected to drop to the mid to upper 20s inland. The Cold Weather Advisory in the same region warns of very cold wind chills ranging from the upper teens to low 20s, emphasizing the risk of frostbite and hypothermia.
Inland Palm Beach County, Glades, Hendry, and Inland Collier County in Florida are facing very cold wind chills as low as 31, with the potential for hypothermia with prolonged exposure. Similarly, portions of northeast and northern Florida are under a Freeze Warning with temperatures as low as 27 and a Cold Weather Advisory with wind chills as low as 20, highlighting the risks to vulnerable populations.
Fairbanks, Alaska, is experiencing dense fog, with visibility dropping to one-quarter mile or less, creating hazardous driving conditions in the Fairbanks Metro Area until 10:00 AM AKST.
Coastal Volusia, Inland Indian River, Inland Martin, and other counties in Florida are under a Cold Weather Advisory until November 11 at 9:00 AM EST, with very cold wind chills as low as 25 expected, potentially leading to hypothermia.
In northern New York, a Winter Weather Advisory warns of mixed precipitation, with additional snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze until 7:00 AM EST.
As these cold weather advisories and warnings remain in effect, it is crucial for residents to take necessary precautions to stay safe and protect themselves from the harsh weather conditions.
