Additionally, a Beach Hazards Statement has been issued for the Northern Outer Banks beaches, warning of rip currents that can sweep swimmers away from shore.
In the Florida Keys, a Coastal Flood Statement has been issued, predicting minor saltwater flooding in low-lying areas. The statement cautions residents about potential impacts on streets, storm drains, seawalls, and docks, as well as reduced clearance under fixed bridges. Boaters and motorists are advised to exercise caution during this period of heightened flood risk.
Further west, in Wyoming, High Wind Warnings have been issued for the Bordeaux area along Interstate 25 and Central Carbon County. West winds of 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 65 mph are expected, posing transportation hazards for light-weight or high-profile vehicles.
