In Paducah, Kentucky, a strong thunderstorm was reported over Lone Oak, moving northeast at 30 mph. Additionally, a special weather statement was issued in Memphis, Tennessee, with a strong thunderstorm moving northeast at 55 mph. Wind gusts up to 50 mph were expected, posing a risk of knocking down tree limbs and causing damage to unsecured objects in locations such as Brownsville, Bolivar, Whiteville, and Somerville.
