Pilgrims will embark on a journey that not only strengthens their faith but also challenges them to take concrete actions for the environment. The pilgrimage is open to everyone, with accommodations for those who may need assistance with outdoor terrain. Dress comfortably for the weather, wear walking shoes, and bring sunscreen and a reusable water bottle.
The event kicks off at 10 a.m. with check-in at the Foley Room at Providence Spirituality & Conference Center, followed by Mass at 11 a.m. in the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Lunch will be served before the pilgrimage begins at 1 p.m., concluding at 4:30 p.m. with a closing prayer at 4 p.m. Suggested donations of $10-20 per person are appreciated, and registration can be done online at Events.SistersofProvidence.org.
This pilgrimage is a unique opportunity to connect with nature, deepen your spirituality, and contribute to environmental conservation efforts. Don’t miss this chance to be part of a global movement towards a more sustainable future. Join us for the Pilgrimage of Hope for Creation at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on September 28.
