Not only is this race a fantastic opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to showcase their skills in canoeing, kayaking, or paddleboarding, but it also serves as a fundraising event to support the installation of a new boat dock at the Clinton Indiana Boat Ramp. By participating in the race, you’ll be contributing to the preservation and enhancement of our natural resources in Parke and Vermillion Counties.
Safety is a top priority at the Indiana Wabash River Run, with life jackets and signed waivers required for all participants. Emergency services personnel and Fire Department River Rescue crews will be on standby to ensure a smooth and secure race experience. Cash prizes and trophies await the top finishers in both professional and amateur divisions, adding an extra layer of excitement to the event.
The race kicks off at 11:00 am, with a $20 entry fee per person. Late registrations will be processed by volunteers at Reeder Park from 9:00 am onwards. For those unable to complete the route, there will be manned egress points along the river, with shuttle bus service available from Clinton back to Montezuma.
In a special tribute to veterans and first responders, registration will be free for all those who have served our country and communities. Participants can also choose a T-shirt from past events at no charge, making this year’s race a memorable and meaningful experience for all.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to support a great cause, enjoy the beauty of the Wabash River, and compete for exciting prizes. Join us at Reeder Park for the 2025 Indiana Wabash River Run and be a part of a community-driven event that celebrates athleticism, nature, and giving back.
