This unique event invites teens aged 12-17 to create a representation of themselves on a 4″ x 4″ canvas using acrylic paint and inspiration images. Once completed, these individual artworks will come together to form a larger mosaic in the Teen Space of the library. Supplies and refreshments will be provided, ensuring a fun and creative atmosphere for all participants.
This collaborative art project not only allows teens to explore their creativity but also fosters a sense of community and unity as their individual pieces come together to create something larger than themselves. It’s a fantastic opportunity for young artists to showcase their talents, connect with their peers, and leave a lasting mark on the library space.
With the event’s focus on self-expression and collaboration, it promises to be a memorable and enriching experience for all attendees. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just starting on your creative journey, “Paint Who You Are” offers a welcoming and inclusive environment for teens to explore their artistic abilities.
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to be part of a collective art project that celebrates individuality and unity. Join us at the Vigo County Public Library on July 24th and let your creativity shine!
