Hosted by Sisters of Providence nurse, Beth Collins, and Thrive’s Dementia Outreach Specialist, Amy Schorr, this series will introduce participants to Teepa Snow’s Positive Approach to Care Dementia Awareness Training. The classes are free and will take place every other Wednesday, starting on September 10th, at the Foley Room in the Providence Spirituality & Conference Center from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Thanks to the Carol M. Starkey Kochell Charitable Fund of the Wabash Valley Community Foundation, respite care is available for five families on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is encouraged as space is limited for the classes. You can register online or contact Amy Schorr at (812) 238-1561, extension 260.
This series is a valuable resource for caregivers looking to improve their caregiving skills and provide the best possible care for their loved ones with dementia. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from experts in the field and connect with other caregivers facing similar challenges.
Join us at the Providence Spirituality & Conference Center for this important series that aims to support caregivers and enhance the quality of care for individuals with dementia. Together, we can make a positive difference in the lives of those we care for.
