Throughout the week, students will have the opportunity to participate in various workshops tailored to their interests. From learning about Instagram filters and taking photos of the library to exploring TikTok trends and creating videos for Summer Reading, there is something for everyone. The workshops culminate in a YouTube Live Event where participants can join library staff during a live broadcast and learn about streaming software. Additionally, students can showcase their creativity by recording and editing a short video promoting Lucky’s Book Talk and setting up, recording, and editing a Storytime video for Facebook and YouTube.
The event kicks off on Monday, April 20, with the Instagram Post workshop at 4 PM in the Teen Room and concludes on Saturday, April 25, with the Record a Storytime workshop at 11 AM. Each workshop offers a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills in photography, video creation, and social media while promoting the library in innovative ways.
