Hosted by Sabeel, a grassroots ecumenical Palestinian liberation theology movement, the peacemakers delved into the universal ethic of nonviolence. Their experiences shed light on the ongoing genocide in Gaza, which has devastating effects on the lives of Palestinians in the Occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem.
To share their insights and reflections, a livestreamed event titled “Pilgrimage to Palestine, Pilgrimage to Home: A Report Back” will be held on March 26, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. The event, which will take place at the Sisters of Providence of Saint Mary-of-the-Woods in Terre Haute, aims to educate and inspire attendees about the importance of solidarity and peacebuilding in conflict zones.
The event will include a presentation followed by a 30-minute question and answer session, providing an opportunity for participants to engage with the peacemakers directly. Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend this enlightening and thought-provoking event.
For more information or to RSVP, please contact 812-535-2952 or email pr*****@***mw.org. Don’t miss this chance to learn about the power of nonviolence and solidarity in the face of adversity.
