Led by facilitators Sister Corbin Hannah, SP, Director of Outreach and Events Tara Elmore, and Ministry Support Specialist Raven Renn, participants will engage in mindful activities, disconnect from the stresses of everyday life, and find inner peace. The retreat kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 21, and concludes at 11 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 22. There is also an optional evening gathering on Friday, Feb. 20, at 7 p.m., as well as a Mass and brunch on Sunday.
Attendees can choose to stay on campus at the Woodhaven Retreat and Guest House, where each person will have a private room and bathroom. With a limit of nine persons for on-campus lodging, this retreat promises an intimate and rejuvenating experience. All meals are included in the cost, and participants are encouraged to bring warm clothes and good walking shoes for outdoor activities.
In addition to the restorative activities planned, there will be a yoga session during the retreat. Those interested should come prepared with comfortable clothing and a yoga mat. The registration deadline for this transformative experience is February 16, so be sure to secure your spot soon.
Whether you’re seeking a weekend of relaxation, reflection, and renewal or simply looking to escape the winter blues, the Winter Rest and Reflect Retreat offers a unique opportunity to nourish your mind, body, and soul. Don’t miss out on this chance to prioritize self-care and well-being in a peaceful and supportive environment.
