In central Minnesota, a Winter Storm Watch has been issued from November 24 at 2:23 PM CST until November 26 at 6:00 AM CST. Rain is forecasted to transition to snow on Tuesday afternoon and evening, with total accumulations between 3 and 5 inches possible. Gusty winds up to 40 mph may lead to reduced visibility due to blowing snow, impacting travel conditions, especially in central Minnesota.
Additionally, a Wind Advisory is in place for several counties in Minnesota from November 24 at 2:23 PM CST until November 26 at 6:00 AM CST. Northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph are expected, posing risks of blowing around unsecured objects, downing tree limbs, and causing power outages.
Meanwhile, in Montana, a Special Weather Statement has been issued, warning of snow showers moving east at 35 mph, affecting various locations including Red Lodge, Columbus, and Big Timber.
