Doppler radar has also been tracking an outflow boundary from ahead of thunderstorms along a line extending from Westlake to near Avon Lake to near Lorain to near Wakeman to 6 miles northeast of Willard, with wind gusts up to 50 mph, impacting locations like Cleveland and Elyria, as reported by the NWS Cleveland.
In West Virginia, strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Elizabeth to near Ripley, moving east at 25 mph, have been producing wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny-size hail, affecting areas such as Ripley and Sandyville, according to the NWS Charleston. Additionally, strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near New Washington to near Bucyrus to near Ashley, moving east at 35 mph, have been generating wind gusts up to 50 mph and half-inch hail, impacting locations like Mansfield and Ashland, as per the NWS Cleveland.
These severe weather conditions highlight the importance of staying informed and taking necessary precautions to ensure safety. Residents in the affected areas are advised to seek shelter indoors and report any hazardous weather conditions to the NWS.
