Rach’s Third

One of the highlights of this exciting season is “Rach’s Third,” a performance that will showcase the virtuosity of THSO musicians and the incredible talent of world-class pianist Fei-Fei. Known for her technical prowess and emotive playing, Fei-Fei will bring Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 to life with passion and precision. The concert will also feature Dmitri Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 9, a witty and satirical work that was controversially received by Soviet critics, and Valerie Coleman’s uplifting Seven O’clock Shout, inspired by frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will take place at Tilson Auditorium on November 1, 2025, starting at 7:30 pm. Season tickets for all five regular season concerts are available, with prices starting at $95 for adults and $24 for students/youth. Single tickets will go on sale after August 11, 2025. Additionally, guests can enhance their experience by joining “Supper at the Symphony,” a three-course meal served before the concert, or attending “Concert Conversations” with Music Director Roger Kalia and guest artists.
