Breaking waves of 4 to 7 feet could lead to hazardous beach conditions, particularly in Maryland Beaches County, Eastern Currituck County, and Virginia Beach.
In Utah, a Special Weather Statement from the NWS Salt Lake City UT warns of a strong thunderstorm moving north at 35 mph, with wind gusts up to 50 mph. Locations such as Kanosh and Meadow may experience gusty winds that could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects, impacting travel on Interstate 15 and Interstate 70.
Further north, the NWS Anchorage AK has issued High Wind Watches for the Kuskokwim Delta Coast and the Pribilof Islands. South winds of 35 to 50 mph with gusts up to 75 mph are possible along the Kuskokwim Delta Coast, while gusts up to 80 mph are possible across the Pribilof Islands. These high winds could cause property damage, power outages, and difficult travel conditions.
Lastly, a Frost Advisory has been issued by the NWS Northern Indiana for portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and northwest Ohio. Temperatures as low as 34 to 37 degrees Fahrenheit could result in frost formation, potentially harming sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered.
