Moreover, a Wind Advisory for the Eastern Alaska Range North of Trims Camp warns of south winds reaching 30 to 40 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph expected from 7 AM Saturday to 4 PM AKDT Sunday. Gusty winds may lead to the blowing around of unsecured objects and possible power outages in the area.
In addition to the surf and wind-related advisories, Coastal Flood Advisories and Warnings have been issued for various locations. In Southeast Harford County, up to one half foot of inundation above ground level is expected due to tidal flooding, impacting low-lying areas. Similar conditions are anticipated in the City of Alexandria, Arlington County, and Anne Arundel County, with water levels rising above normal and affecting streets and businesses.
