For those in far eastern Klamath County and Lake County, including the higher terrain of Winter Rim and surrounding areas, as well as highways 31, 395, and 140, blowing dust is also a concern downwind of dry lake beds like Summer Lake and Fossil Lake.
These weather conditions can pose risks to both property and personal safety, emphasizing the importance of staying informed and taking necessary precautions. Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to monitor local weather updates and follow any guidance or warnings issued by local authorities.
