Clay County Chamber Series – Music of Beethoven with the THSO String Quartet

On Wednesday, October 8 at 6 pm, the First Presbyterian Church of Brazil will host this free recital, featuring Associate Concertmaster Eva Tao, Second Violin Ryan Tolentino, Principal Viola Shuhan Wang, and Principal Cello Kyle Johnson. The quartet will perform a selection of Beethoven’s masterpieces, including the iconic “Symphony No. 5” and “Ode to Joy.”

In addition to the public performance, the THSO String Quartet will engage with students from Eastside Elementary and Meridian Elementary through educational programs, enriching the community with the power of music.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Wabash Valley Community Foundation – Clay County, this chamber series brings world-class musicians to Brazil, IN, fostering a love for classical music and cultural enrichment in the region.
