On Saturday, September 6, from 11:00 a.m. to noon, join Shannon Hamilton, Athletic Director for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and certified Yoga instructor, for a one-of-a-kind yoga session with alpacas. The event will take place at the female alpaca pasture, promising a serene and picturesque setting for your practice.
Participants must be 18 years or older, and are asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m. at the White Violet Farm Store. From there, you’ll embark on a short walk to the alpaca pasture where the yoga session will take place. The cost is $15 per person, and the registration deadline is Friday, September 5.
This event is not only a great opportunity to connect with nature and animals but also to support the White Violet Center for Eco-Justice, a local organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in the community.
Don’t miss out on this chance to experience the calming effects of yoga surrounded by the gentle presence of alpacas. It’s a perfect way to start your weekend on a peaceful note.
So mark your calendars, grab your yoga mat, and come join us for Alpaca Yoga at White Violet Center for Eco-Justice. Namaste!
