Nintendo fans eagerly anticipating the live-action adaptation of The Legend of Zelda will have to wait a little longer, as Nintendo has announced a delay in the film’s release date. Originally slated for March 26, 2027, the movie will now hit theaters on May 7, 2027.
Shigeru Miyamoto, the legendary creator of Zelda, cited “production reasons” as the cause for the delay. In a statement posted on X, Miyamoto reassured fans that the extra time will be used to ensure the film is of the highest quality possible.
